Subject Line: Upcoming Healthcare Company Changes

Hello The Grieg Agency employees,

Beginning on January 1, 2023 The Grieg Agency plans to change its healthcare company. We will be switching from Cigna to Aetna. We know that change can be difficult, so we are letting you know in advance so that you can plan ahead. This change comes with many positives, but with positives there are also negatives involved with this switch.

Unfortunately, monthly costs will increase by $25 for each employee and $50 per family member. Despite this increase, the in-network deductible will drop from $1500 to $500. Furthermore, the out-of-network deductible will drop from $3,000 to $1000.

As this change takes place, we expect that many in-network providers will remain the same, but there will be some changes. It’s best that you double check with the Aetna platform to verify their current in-network providers. It’s also important to note that this new plan opens up coverage for mental health providers and chiropractors.
